weekday recap - {in iPhone pics} w.13

our first week back from vacation was a bit rough. schedules were off, we all had a bit of the post-vacation blues, we were missing our friends, p-ray & i were missing sam while he was at work, & our tans are starting to fade. blah. but here we are & we're dealing.

on monday parker had his nine month check up. we learned he hasn't grown much & needs to be stuffing his face a bit more. at least he's cute while naked & waiting for the doctor, right?

project "feed parker more food" commenced monday night with sam & parker's daily shared yogurt.

we had a playdate on tuesday. it was crazy! there were twenty something kids there, but we had a blast. it was also super sunny here in the pnw, which lifted our missing-hawaii spirits. it was cold, but on a sunny day, the seattle area is a pretty gorgeous place to be.

we had another sunny day on wednesday so we bundled up {it was still freaking cold} & met up with some friends {kaylee & heather pictured} for a walk around our state's capitol. nothing like some fresh air to lift the spirits that need lifting, right?

i made my return to the office on thursday. there was a massive pile of work waiting for me on my desk {seen in pic on left} & i had an almost-whole-day meeting i was in so i wasn't really able to make a dent in it. ah well, it'll still be there next week. that night i got my side-pony tail on & threw together an outfit for "80's day" friday morning at stroller strides.

80's day at stroller strides was a blasty blast. nothing like dripping sweat in while listening to madonna & the b-52s, right? good times. also, parker really enjoyed project "feed parker more food" that afternoon while eating some oatmeal mixed with yogurt. he couldn't stop giggling.

and one of his new favorite things? head butts. who am i to object? he cracks me up.
