sick & mischievous little boy.

my little man is still sick.  as i type this, i can hear him back in his room coughing hacking every few minutes.  ugh.  i. hate. this.  i took him to the doctor today & they prescribed an antibiotic to treat it as an upper respiratory tract infection. 

i hope he gets better.  soon.

i was telling sam tonight that the hardest part about having a sick kid isn't all the extra care, the extra love, or the lack of sleep you experience while they're sick... no, the hardest part is seeing them uncomfortable & there is absolutely nothing you can do to take it away.  i am such a pansy.

anywho, yes, he was sick today... but not too sick to cause some mischief.  he's definitely at the point of getting into things.  little stinker.

see that plant on top of that speaker?  one guess as to how all that dirt landed all over p-ray {and my carpet}.  if you look closely in the third picture, you can see that he got what he wanted.

yes.  all of that for one little measly dead leaf.  i hope it was worth it.
