maybe that's why i had so much fun?
anywho, we're home now {got home last night at midnight} & i'm settling back into normalcy. parker's sleep schedule is all messed up which resulted in a 5:00 am wakeup call this morning... that was awwwweessome. or not.
ah well, aside from the sleeping issues the vacay was pretty much perfect. i don't have too many pictures to show for it & i'm hoping to get some from the rest of the fam to share. or maybe i won't. either way, here are a few for now.
{11 of the 12 cousins. we're missing the oldest cousin, jessica. parker was really having lots of fun at this point, despite the grump face.}
{parker enjoyed pushing his cousin bekah around for a good ten minutes or so. and he was all business about it.}
{he also really bonded with his uncle bill on this trip. so much that he wouldn't even come to me if bill had him, but he would still go to sam. wth?}
{pushing trucks around on the back patio with cousins. parker coulda done this pretty much all night.}

{the two cuties who made this whole big family thing possible, my dad & mom. love them & miss them both lots & lots.}
so yeah, it sucks being the only ones who don't live within a quick drive of the rest of the family. seeing parker interact with his cousins & run around barefoot in the grass with them for hours on end was one of the funnest things i've experienced as a parent. i'm jealous of any of you who live around your family! you better not take it for granted... especially the part where you may or may not get free babysitting. i'm jealous of that too.
